Baltimore police reports four people have been shot, three
fatally, near the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
Detective Rashawn K Strong, in a statement early on July 8,
Wednesday said that officers responded at about 10.30pm
on Tuesday to a reported shooting a few blocks from
University of Maryland.
According to Strong, the said officers found a woman and
two men with gunshot wounds.
A statement on the college’s website reveals that campus
police reported two gunmen, each in a van, pulled over
near a group of people, got out and began firing, striking
the four individuals.
Following the incident, students of the University have been
advised to tread with caution within the area.
It must be recalled that it there was also a bloodbath in
Chicago over the weekend, where eight people lost their
lives and several others were left wounded.
With all theses gun-crimes committed week after week, one
can only say that America seems far away from solving its
gun problems.
There definitely is a lot that needs to be done with the
judiciary system, so that criminals can feel the effect of
justice.
